Hello and thank you for taking the time to read about Story Buzz. Here at Story Buzz we live and breathe stories. Our story started 15 years ago when two strangers from different continents met at a school in Monkey Bay and shared a vision of creating a project that connected children all over the world, allowing them to celebrate their stories, develop key literacy skills and build friendships. Story Buzz is the manifestation of that dream.

Meet the Team

For two decades Rachel has worked in various educational settings in the UK and volunteered in schools across Africa. It has always been her ambition to create a project that combined her love of stories, with her unwavering belief in the transformative power of education. Rachel is a teacher, has a degree in English Literature and develops education programmes for young people at risk of becoming NEET (not in education, employment or training). She is a keen writer, eager student and mother to two fabulous children.

Paul has been a teacher in Malawi for over 20 years and is constantly inspiring students in the classroom and through extra curricular projects like Story Buzz. Paul has a degree in Theological Studies and passionately believes in the importance of education. Through Story Buzz he encourages his students to actively practice their English, handwriting and literacy skills, whilst developing cross continental friendships and an understanding of another culture.
