What is Story Buzz?

Story Buzz is a project connecting children in the Uk and Malawi, giving them the opportunity to write to one another, sharing their stories, experiences and providing insights into each other’s cultures. Letter writing promotes literacy skills through practical application and let us not forget how exciting it is to receive a reply!

How does it work?

Story Buzz connects children through a letter writing program and is completely FREE! We allocate ‘Bee Buddies’, trying to match age and interests. All you need to do is:

1. Write your letter.
2. Get inspiration, tips and monthly themes from our website.
3. Give your letter to your project co-ordinator or teacher.
4. Receive your reply!

Is it safe?

The most important thing to Story Buzz, besides sharing your stories, is that all the children we work with are safe. To ensure this all letters pass through our screening system, safeguarding procedures are in place and we have created a factsheet on great things to include in your letters and things to leave out.
